Dr Anne O’Donnell began her specialist medical training in Wellington before moving to Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, Sydney and the Royal Marsden Hospital, London. She completed her MD in the field of drug development of Anti-angiogenic therapeutics at the Institute of Cancer Research in London.
Dr O’Donnell is committed to continual professional development and teaching; she is a past chair of the RACP training committee in Medical Oncology and a previous member of the Cancer and Therapeutics Advisory Panel for PHARMAC.
She is also actively involved in clinical research, she is the Deputy Chair of the Board of AGITG and is the local principal investigator for a number of trials open at the Wellington Blood and Cancer Centre, across Phase I - IV clinical trials.
