Dr Joe Chang

Dr Joe Chang is a Radiation Oncologist at Liverpool Hospital and ICON Cancer Centre, and conjoint senior lecturer at the University of New South Wales. He completed his Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) at the University of Otago and undertook specialist radiation oncology training at Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre in Melbourne, Australia. He completed his PhD on functional and molecular imaging in prostate and head and neck cancer radiation therapy at the University of Melbourne. Dr Chang subsequently undertook a clinical fellowship in stereotactic ablative body radiotherapy (SABR) and intracranial stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS) at the Sunnybrook Odette Cancer Centre in Toronto, Canada. He is the current chair of the Sydney SABR Consortium. He main research interests are in the field of advanced imaging and stereotactic ablative body radiotherapy.
